Puerto Del Sol in Bolinao, Pangasinan

Puerto Del Sol is one of the best resorts in Bolinao, Pangasinan. It is a 5 and a half drive to get there. Picturesque as it may seem it is not at par with what the website has told us.
Puerto Del Sol has a good beach. White sand and a vast expanse of it. The problem with it is it is too shallow which is only up to ankle deep so there is no way for somebody to swim.

Room needs renovations already especially the Bahay Kubo that we stayed in. The casitas good for families also need renovations. The hotel rooms behind the pool are quite new and seemed nicer. The restaurant too (la Playa) needs renovation.

Although in the website it said that they offer international cuisine, still they are not at par with other resorts. They need to provide more choices and better ingredients.

Customer service is poor especially in the front gate and front desk. Nobody assisted us in carrying our luggage until we asked the guard to do so from their parking lot which was outside the resort. Also, there was only one person in the reception table so we had to wait for 15 minutes before we were able to check in after our long drive. They were also slow in giving us drinks and shell necklaces. The staff in the restaurant however was so nice.

Their pool and jacuzzi were colored green so we didn't even wade in them.

We booked two nights but the following day we decided to leave, but their manager didn't refund our second night stay. Instead they asked us to consume what we paid for in their gift shop.

Here are some pictures of Puerto Del Sol.
