Kamana Sanctuary Resort & Spa

One weekend, we looked for a place to relax and our friends suggested that we should try out Kamana Sanctuary Resort & Spa in Subic Bay in Zambales. Because it was a long weekend we booked a villa for 3 days and 2 nights there.

Driving to Subic is now fast on North Expressway and SCTEX. It took us only and hour and 30 minutes to get there.

The resort was located 15 minutes away from the Tipo Exit, 20 minutes away from the Subic Feeport malls. The resort was nice although the beach for me was just ok. Of course subic Bay is a ship docking bay so expect that there would be oil and grease in the water. Also, there were some trash floating so I would really not advice for people to swim in the ocean.

The pool is warm and relaxing though. Although it is a "Spa", there was no spa there.

The dining area was just small. The food that was served was not so great, especially for foreigners.

Our room had a nice view of the bay. It was relaxing as you hear the waves splashing underneath the pillars. The room itself was very nice.
