Beautiful Bellarocca Island Resort and Spa

Bellarocca Island Resort and Spa is a Class A top travel destination in the Philippines where one can totally have relaxation and rejuvenation. It is famous for it's Santorini style hotel, villas and terrazas and it is the perfect hideaway for everyone. It is a short, 30 minute flight away from the busy Metro Manila and is located in the beautiful island of Marinduque.

Suriya Spa, Frontera Verde

We are members of the Suriya Spa in Frontera Verde for a year now and yesterday was just our second visit there.

Seven Corners, Crowne Plaza Manila

The Seven Corners Buffet in Crowne Plaza was highly recommended to us by friends. Since were are buffet afficionados, of course we expect a lot: from the servers and from the dishes that it will offer. 

Marriott Cafe

Marriott Cafe's Sunday lunch buffet is a weekly thing for us. The restaurant serves international cuisine as well as local selections. Everybody in the restaurant is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is located in Marriott Hotel Manila in Resorts World.

Perfect Place For A Team Building

Yesterday we went on an hour drive to La Virginia Resort in Mataas na Kahoy in Batangas and joined a Team Building activity. The resort itself is big and it has lots of places to stay and do fun activities. There are a lot of swiming pools, have different themes per location, lots of gardens, has its own zipline and climbing wall.

Thunderbird Resorts in Poro Point, La Union

It was our second visit to Thunderbird Poro Point in San Fernando City in the province of La Union. We already stayed there last summer and we promised that we would definitely come back. We stayed in the hotel for one night then, when we came down from Baguio. It was a beautiful resort, with majestic Greek style hotel and villas, big swimming pool, golf course, casino, great restaurants and beautiful sceneries.

Surfing in San Juan, La Union

San Juan, La Union is one of the famous surfing places in the Philippines. It is a 5 hour drive from Manila by car and up to 7 hours bus ride. We are not surfers but because my niece is coming from California for  her Christmas vacation, we explored the area and scouted for places for her to stay. 

Puerto Del Sol in Bolinao, Pangasinan

Puerto Del Sol is one of the best resorts in Bolinao, Pangasinan. It is a 5 and a half drive to get there. Picturesque as it may seem it is not at par with what the website has told us.

Marriott Hotel Manila

We always have a Sunday lunch buffet in Marriott Cafe in Marriott Hotel Manila. One time, instead of driving out of Manila, to get away from our daily life stress, we spent one Saturday night in the Hotel itself, booked ourselves a room and just relaxed the entire day and night.

Eskaya Beach Resort and Spa

Eskaya Beach Resort and Spa is a posh beach resort in Panglao Island in Bohol, Philippines. It is one of the prettiest and of course one of the most expensive resorts in the island of Bohol.

From the airport, a shuttle will pick you up and in 30 minutes of site seeing around the City of Tagbilaran, you will reach the beach resort in Panglao. You will then be welcomed with garlands and fruit drink by the staff in the reception area, where you can also book your other activities during your stay in the resort.

Kamana Sanctuary Resort & Spa

One weekend, we looked for a place to relax and our friends suggested that we should try out Kamana Sanctuary Resort & Spa in Subic Bay in Zambales. Because it was a long weekend we booked a villa for 3 days and 2 nights there.

Discovery Country Suites in Tagaytay City

Last week, we decided to have a quick trip to Tagaytay City, in Cavite. This place is a one and a half drive from Manila, well depending on the traffic. It was a weekday, so we were thinking that the hotel would be deserted and we booked immediately after lunch time, packed our things and left Manila.

From Ortigas Center, we were on EDSA in no time, then took the South Luzon Expressway- Skyway. We didn't take the Sta. Rosa exit as we knew that traffic would be bad there because of the jeepneys and tricycles. Instead, we took the Greenfield Exit past Sta. Rosa and headed towards Paseo de Sta. Rosa mall, were we turned left towards the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road.
