Guard Strikes Dog with Golf Club

I was watching television last night in the gym when I saw the report about a security guard hitting to death a dog in a university. I researched some more and I found this article from Interaksyon.com

This is the full report:

A security guard of the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) Cavite campus was caught on video repeatedly clubbing a hapless stray dog, angering netizens.

The 31-second video was uploaded on video sharing site YouTube on September 23 and has earned 2,205 views as of this posting.

The video was uploaded by the group Philippine Animal Lovers Society Worldwide.

In the video, the unidentified security guard was seen repeatedly hitting the stray dog using a golf club.

The uploader said the dog died because of the beatings and was buried near the school.

The group said it tried to contact the school's administrator but the latter allegedly refused to cooperate and even threatened to expel the students who saw the incident.

"This is unacceptable. An administrator should teach their students to FOLLOW the LAW (and) not to be an outlaw," the description in the video showed.
Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) executive director Anna Cabrera said their volunteers had confirmed that the incident took place at TUP-Cavite.
The incident occurred last August 30 but the video was only uploaded recently.

PAWS has yet to obtain the security guard's identity but said he belonged to the Baguio Investigation and Security Agency.

Cabrera appealed to eyewitnesses to provide information so  that charges could be filed against the security guard.
