P.F. Chang's China Bistro in Alabang

We first learned that P.F. Chang's China Bistro opened it's first branch in the Philippines in Alabang Town Center months ago from an American friend. Without thinking of how far it is from Ortigas Center where we live in, we rushed and drove there to try the restaurant out. It is the world famous Chinese restaurant chain and from the time it had opened, up to now, we see people from all walks of life enjoying the delectable food that P.F. Chang's offers.

Location

P.F. Chang's is located at the back of Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa City as shown in the map. Those who are coming from Makati, Quezon City and Manila areas would have to take the Skyway or South Luzon Expressway and exit at the South Station or Alabang. Then take the Alabang-Zapote Road and go around the Alabang Town Center. The restaurant is surrounded by a big parking lot.

The Restaurant

The front of the restaurant is lines with terracotta horses ad soldiers, basically inviting one to get inside the restaurant. The place is simple, wide, bright and very cozy. The inside is decorated with Chinese art and a big Chinese mural is seen on the ground floor. A bar is set in the middle of the restaurant.

It it housed in a two storey building with seats and tables that can cater to 240 people. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about their meals. One can ask directly from the servers on their special dishes and can even request for special modifications (the awesome dynamite shrimp which is to die for, but to spicy for me, can be made with the sauce not mixed but just on the side).

The Food

The meals are served fresh and are prepared daily. The chefs are so trained to always make all their meals deliciously appealing to everyone that one would always try another dish every time you would visit the restaurant. My favorite Tamarind Iced drink is to die for. There are only a few desserts though, but their Great Wall of Chocolate is a killer!
